我国海岸和河口地区污染物的来源、迁移及其环境影响研究

海洋污染是一个非常重要且涉及全世界所有沿海国家的问题。对于保护海洋环境和防止海洋污染的目标和行动，1992年联合国环境与发展大会所通过的《21世纪议程》第17章已经作了明确地阐述。为了保护海岸环境，中国在海洋污染防治领域已经开展了包括以下几个方面的许多工作：基线研究、污染物对生物的影响、影响预测模拟、检测技术及海洋环境管理。污染物和污染源的研究包括有毒重金属、有机杀虫剂、石油、放射性核素。虽然许多中国的科学家参加各种国际和区域座谈会和讨论会时提交了研究论文，并且已发表了许多有创意的论文和综述，但是在中国还没有涉及海洋污染防治研究的具体出版物和发行物。自从1990年国际科联环境问题科学委员会中国委员会(SCOPE CAST CHINA)在中国成立以来，SCOPE CAST CHINA 的秘书长刘静宜教授一直在鼓励SCOPE CAST CHINA工作组去总结中国科学家与国际科研组织进行信息交流所取得的成就。这就是编辑此书的背景。

本书的题目《我国海岸和河口地区污染物的来源、迁移及其环境影响研究》概括了各大学、研究机构以及政府实验部门几乎所有海洋环境科学家的工作。为了使内容更加全面和深入，编者邀请了中科院、各大学及国家海洋管理局的一些在各个具体领域中工作的最主要的科学家参与编写。许多文章是以作者自己的研究成果为基础的。

内容分为五个部分：一、源；二、迁移；三、具体污染物；四、影响；五、管理。这些材料的目的是为了让读者了解在本书题目所牵涉的领域里我国已经完成和正在做的事情。如果本书能够在与国际科研机构的信息交流中起到一些作用，那么本书的编辑和作者将感激不尽。欢迎对本书进行批评指正。

Sources, Transport and Environmental Impact of Contaminants in the Coastal and Estuarine Areas of China

Marine pollution is a problem of great importance and concern to all coastal countries in the world. The objectives and action required in protecting the marine environment and preventing marine pollution were formulated in Chapter 17 of Agenda 21 Century in the United Nation Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in 1992. For the purpose of protecting coastal environment a lot of work has been done in the field of marine pollution prevention in China including the following subjects: baseline study, biological effects of pollutants, impact prediction modeling, monitoring technique and marine environment management. Contaminants and pollutants studied included toxic heavy metals, organic pesticides, oil, and radio nuclides. Although many Chinese scientists presented research papers when they participated in various international and regional symposia or workshops, and many original papers and reviews have been published in international and Chinese journals, there is no special publication or issue dealing with studies on marine pollution prevention in China. Since the establishment of SCOPE China in 1990, Prof. LIU Jingyi, Secretary General of SCOPE China, has been encouraging the working groups of SCOPE China to summarize the research achievements of Chinese scientists for the information exchange with international scientific organizations. This is the background of editing this special publication.

The title “Sources, Transport and Environmental Impact of Contaminants in Coastal and Estuarine Areas of China” generalizes the work of almost all the marine environmental scientists in universities, research institutions and governmental laboratories. The editor invited some main leading scientists of different special fields from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, universities, and State Oceanic Administration as writers in order to make the text as complete as possible in coverage and depth. Many articles were written based on the authors own research achievements.

This text is divided into five sections: Ⅰ. Sources; Ⅱ.Transport; Ⅲ. Specific contaminants; Ⅳ. Impact; Ⅴ.Management. The material aims to provide the reader with understanding of what has been done and what is going on in China in the fields covered by the title of this book. The editor and all authors would be greatly gratified if this issue can play some roles in information exchange with international scientific organizations. Comments on this issue will be warmly welcomed.
